Compression of the median nerve at the wrist can cause hand pain, numbness,
and weakness. Through a small incision in the hand the compression can
be relieved. Patients go home on the day of surgery.
Ulnar Nerve Decompression
Compression of the ulnar nerve can occur at the elbow or wrist and can
cause hand and forearm pain, numbness, and weakness. Through a small
incision at the elbow or wrist the compression can be relieved. Patients
go home on the day of surgery.
